Subscription Terms

Summary

HavenKeep is free to use for a starter set of items. HavenKeep Premium is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks unlimited item tracking, full document history, CSV + PDF export, and priority support. These Subscription Terms describe how billing, renewal, free trials, and cancellation work.

These terms supplement our Terms of Service and EULA. Where the documents overlap, the more specific provision controls.

1. What you get with HavenKeep Premium

  • Unlimited item tracking — no cap on items you can add
  • Full document history — receipts, manuals, and warranty PDFs kept indefinitely for the life of your subscription
  • CSV + PDF export — export your entire warranty database for spreadsheets or insurance adjusters
  • Priority support — first-in-queue response from our support team

Free-tier accounts retain the warranty-expiry reminder feature, barcode + receipt scanning, and household sync — the core of the app is yours forever.

2. Billing and renewal

HavenKeep Premium is offered in two plans:

  • Monthly — billed every month
  • Annual — billed once every 12 months at a discounted rate

Exact prices are displayed in the app on the subscription screen before you confirm purchase, and may differ by region and currency.

Subscriptions renew automatically. Your account is charged at the start of each billing cycle (the day after the previous cycle ends) for the next cycle, using the payment method on file with Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Renewal continues until you cancel.

3. Free trial (if offered)

If we offer a free trial when you start a subscription, you can use the Premium features for free for the duration shown on the purchase screen. To avoid being charged, cancel before the trial ends — at least 24 hours before the trial expiration date, per Apple's and Google's policies.

If you cancel during the trial, you keep Premium access for the remainder of the trial, then the account reverts to the free tier with no charge.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents the next renewal charge but does not refund the current billing period — you keep Premium access until the end of the period you've already paid for, then revert to the free tier.

To cancel:

  • iOS / iPadOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → HavenKeep → Cancel Subscription
  • Android: Play Store app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → HavenKeep → Cancel subscription

To avoid being charged for the next cycle, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

5. Refunds

All in-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google. HavenKeep does not process refunds directly. To request a refund:

  • iOS purchases: visit reportaproblem.apple.com and follow Apple's refund-request flow
  • Android purchases: visit the Play Store, find your order, and follow Google's refund-request flow (refunds are typically available within 48 hours of purchase)

We are happy to help if a refund request stalls — email hello@havenkeep.app and we'll do what we can on our side.

6. Price changes

We may change subscription prices over time. If a price change applies to your current subscription, we will notify you in advance through the App or via the email associated with your account, and (where Apple's or Google's policies require it) ask for your renewed consent before the change takes effect. If you do not consent, your subscription will continue at the old price until the end of the current cycle and then end — you won't be charged the new price.

7. What happens if you cancel or downgrade

When your Premium access ends:

  • Your account reverts to the free tier — your data is preserved, but item-count limits apply
  • Items in excess of the free-tier cap remain visible but read-only; resubscribing restores full write access
  • Document history older than the free-tier window is archived (not deleted) and restored automatically if you resubscribe within 12 months
  • CSV and PDF export are unavailable until you resubscribe

8. Family Sharing

HavenKeep Premium does not currently support Apple Family Sharing or Google Family Library — each Premium subscription is tied to a single HavenKeep account. Household sync (the ability for multiple HavenKeep accounts to see the same items) is available to all users including the free tier; it is separate from Family Sharing.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you through the App or via the email associated with your account.
